The Holle family is a very large group of people! On this family tree you will be able to see how we are all related in an organized fashion! As part of the Holle Family Tree I have decided to focus my attention on the individuals on my Grandpa Holle’s side of the family! While this may seem like a select few, this is still nearly 70 people!

Every year we all try to gather together for a family reunion in the first weekend in August. In August, we all meet at the farm near Herkimer, Kansas. We enjoy a potluck meal, some outdoor games, swimming, and playing with the farm animals! This reunion gives us a chance to meet with new family members, learn more about one another, and simply get to see those that we rarely meet throughout the year!

Not only do we gather in August, but we also try to gather right after Christmas as a family. Oftentimes only a few individuals are able to make it to this gathering due to conflicting schedules or harsh weather conditions. In all, the Holle family reunion is always a great time for both adults and children!
When asked what their favorite aspects of the Holle family reunion in Kansas are…
Emily stated, “I enjoy getting to see so many Holle’s in one place, running around on the farm (jumping on hay bales, seeing the pigs and cats, etc.), and the food is always great!”
Avery stated, “I enjoy hanging out with cousins, finding the kittens, and climbing up on the hay bales!”
Logan stated, “My favorite part of the Holle family reunion in Kansas is the annual family kickball game. I enjoy this game because it’s a lot of fun to see everyone play regardless of their age or abilities!”
